Storage & Organization Solutions from Amazon
With the start of a new year comes the quest to clean and organize EVERYTHING. I for one can get easily overwhelmed with all the storage things that I never know where you start. If you’re anything like me and you’ve read The Home Edit’s holy grail book on organizing your home and your life from top to bottom, and binge-watched their Netflix show, you’ve eagerly tried to organization ALL THE THINGS, and you may or may not have been successful.
Before you get the urge to buy all the storage containers, I do suggest going through your house and getting rid of anything you no longer need. Use Emily Ley from Simplified’s 30-day Ruthless Declutter Challenge to help you! Walk your house with a trash bag and be quick. Yes, some rooms may take you longer but the idea is to not spend too much time on this and to keep only the best, favorite, and necessary.
This will help because you don’t want to be trying to organize items that you no longer need, and, you may find storage solutions that you already own, saving you time AND money!

Also, don’t get stuck on the name of the product or the picture of it’s contents. I am a full believer in making a product work for YOUR needs. So if it’s labeled a “makeup organizer turntable” who says you have to use it for makeup? I actually have this same turntable but I keep it in the kitchen cabinet near the stove (quick and easy access for cooking) and it holds all of our spice jars, and it is hands-down one of the BEST kitchen storage solutions I have purchased EVER!
